Students should apply by completing the EMERGENCY FINANCIAL AID GRANT (CARES ACT) STUDENT REQUEST FORM.
If you need emergency aid, please complete an EMERGENCY FINANCIAL AID GRANT (CARES ACT) STUDENT REQUEST FORM. Assistance offered through this process may also be in the form of referrals or non-financial assistance. Financial assistance is subject to availability of funds and student eligibility as determined by NPTI. Every student is encouraged to submit an application. If you do not meet the requirements for CARES Act funding, NPTI will evaluate your application to determine whether other forms of financial and non-financial assistance may apply.
Students whose financial situation has changed should visit/contact NPTI’s Financial Aid Department.
CARES Act funding will cover expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to Coronavirus (including eligible expenses under a student’s cost of attendance such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care and child care).
We encourage all students in need to fill out an EMERGENCY FINANCIAL AID GRANT (CARES ACT) STUDENT REQUEST FORM describing the resources and/or funding they need to successfully pursue their studies. If you do not meet the funding requirements for CARES Act funding, NPTI will evaluate your application to determine whether other forms of assistance may apply.
Our goal is to provide funding decisions within 5-7 business days depending upon the sufficiency of your application and provided documentation. Follow-up questions and supplemental information can be sent to financialaid@npti.edu.
Paper Check
A paper check will be generated with the student’s information we have on record. Be advised that this method can take between two and three weeks.
Award amounts vary by student and are unique to each student’s economic circumstances.
Copies of lease agreements, mortgage statements, utility bills, car repair estimates or other receipts, invoices or forms that document expenses will help us evaluate your request.
Every application is evaluated individually, and the amount granted is based on documented qualified expenses and available funding. If you need additional help, you can submit a new request.
