The English as a Second Language program is designed for non-native speakers of the English Language and for those students who may have limited English skills. The objective of this academic program is to provide a practical training of the English Language to individuals who already posses a knowledge, training and/or skill and need the language to obtain gainful employment.
The students will develop the skills necessary to achieve an appropriate competence in speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar. Upon completion, the student should have a basic understanding of the language and be proficient to engage in communication activities that may arise in everyday situations.
